Kannada Old Hit Songs, Sung by not very Famous Singers

    TOP 15 KANNADA FILM RETRO SONGS IN VOICE OF  NOT SO FAMOUS SINGERS

Normally, we  associate  any  song we  hear,with  whom , the composer, lyricist and  most importantly, the Singers and  you feel  happy, when you realise it is  sung by your  favorite singer. But many a  times, these  popular  and  Hit songs  will be  in voice  of not so known singers, or who have sung very few  songs ( due  to various reasons) , today's  count down is to track  and list  those  songs and  singers , and  the songs I have choosen, again, are from 1960s,1970s and early 1980s only.In Songs  selected, some times, one of  Singers will be Very popular, other will be unknown , few cases  both are  unknown,and  of course few Solos, and  I have  tried  to have a  mix of all.

1)First  song is  a lyrical Melody, Doni Saagali  Munde  Hogali , a great poem by Kuvempu, from Film Miss  Leelavathi The  female  singer  is of course S JanakI ,  male voice , Not much known, Ramachandra,  Music by Tamil Film composer ,R Sudarshanam,  And song picturised on  Jayanti and  Ramesh

2) Nanyaake Nee Hange  from  Gali Gopura,  The male Singer is  renowned Ghanatasaala, but Female Singer is Renuka, sang few songs in Kannada but not too Popular, Music by TG Lingappa and  written by  GV Iyer,  This  film had  Rajkumar, Leelavathi, Kalyan Kumar  and Uday Kumar in guest role, one of  rare  times, all  three  " Kumars of  Kannada Cinema" acted  together.

3)  Yaaru, Yaaru Nee  Yaaru,  From  the  Film  Rathna Manjari , This is sung by  Nagendra ( of  Rajan Nagendra Composer duo) non regular singer and Jamuna Rani, not heard much , Hunsur Krishnmaurthy  has written the  Lyrics, and Rajan Nagendra have composed the music and film starred Uday Kumar, Leelavathi and  Narasimha Raju,( rare a, song picturised on him)

4)Raadhaa Maadhava Vinodha haasa   from BR Panthalu's Epic  film SCHOOL MASTER , music by  TG Lingappa, the female  singer is P Susheela, but male  Voice, is  TG Lingappa Himself , , a rarity he has sung for  his  composition. This  film had  Uday Kumar, Saroja Devi,  and  Tamil actors Shivaji and  Gemini Ganeshan

5)Kannadada Makella Ondagi banni.. from the  Film , Kannutheradu Nodu,  Written by  GV Iyer, composed by GK Venkatesh  and  for a  Change  sung by himself   and  also appears  in the  Song , this  film had Rajkumar and Leelavavthi  in lead. It is worth remembering  here, GKV sang two more times, both were super hits, Sad version of  Aadisi Nodu  in Kasturi Nivasa, Aadisidaatha Nesara..  and  Virasavemba Vishake   from  Bhootayana Magaa Aiyuu,

6)Neena  Bhagavantha,  from the  film Triveni,  composed by Upendra Kumar  and  the singer is  G Balakrishna, never heard his name any time  after , and  one more significant this was First  song written by, guess  who, Hamsalekha, The  Film starred  Uday Kumar, Kalpana.

7)Balu Aparoopa Namma Jodi,( also  known as  Seenu Subbu  Song)  The film is Lagna Patrike,    Fun Song involving  some of best comedians  of  Kannada screen in Single  frame, One of  Singers is of course PB Srinivas, and  other is  not too  famous ,but  a Tamil  Singer I Think ,AT  Raghavan , Music is by Vijay Bhskar,  written  by  Uday shankar,The films  starred  Rajkumar, Jayanthi and  host of  comedians ,. The  same combination of  Singers  gave  another  super hit, similar  to this,  Naavu Haaduvude Sangeeta..  from Film Bhale Adrsuhtavo  Adrushta.

8)Bandana  Sharapnjaradalli  Bandana,  From Puttana's  Sharapanjara, This  film had some real wonderful songs , may be least  famous  of  them was  this  tittle  song , sung by  unknown singer Devadas , written by  Vijaya Narasimha  and  Music by Vijay Bhaskar. Dont  recollect any other song by this  singer.

9)  Irabekhu IraBekhu  from the  film Naguva  Hoovu,  starring   RN Sudarshan  and  his wife Shylashri,  This  song is  one of  two songs  which RN Sudharshan  Sang , written by his  Brother   RN Jayagopal , and composed by GK Venkatesh. Of course the other ,more famous song by Sudharshan was  Hoovondu Bali Bandu, from film Shubha Mangla

10)Totadaage  Hova  Kande,  from the  film  Chiranjeevi,  Sung by not heard singer again, BS  Balakrishna,  written by Vijay Narasimha, composed by Vijay Bhaskar. This  was  picturised on Character  artist ,Shivaram , this  film had  Srinath  and  Manjula ( as  blind lady). Unfortunatley , there is no video of  this  song available.

11)Nee Sara Nodu , From the  Film, Kakana Kote , What a  beautiful Melody  , the Singer is  Sulochana, And composed by C Ashwath. This  film had  Srinath, Lokesh, Girija Lokesh etc but this  song is  picturised on actress Lavanya, I think.  This  singer  Sulochana sang few other songs
with  Raj Kumar , Aneya Mele  in Haalu Jenu, Ondu Mathu, Adu Gothu in Keralida Simha .

12)Amma  Endare ,Yeno  Harushavu,  Film is  KALLU KULLA , one of  singer is  PB Srinivas Singing for  Vishnu in the  film  and  other  singer is Krishnmurthy, singing for  Dwarakish. This is written by  Uday Shankar and  composed by Rajan Nagendra

13)Kadu  Kudure Odi Banditha , sung by Janapada Singer , Shimoga  Subbana, from Film Kaadu Kudure,Directed, Song written by,  Music composed by Dr Chandrashekar  Kambara, female  singer  is also not too  famous , Kalpana Shirur. Shimoga  Subbanna  won a  National  award  for  Male Play back singing for  this  song .

14)Naguveya  Heene Naanu Beeluvaga  , Premada Kaanike , Composed  by Upendra Kumar written by  Chi Uday Shankar ,  Picturised on Dr Rajkumar  and Jaya Mala, male singer  of course  Raj Himself  and  female  singer  was, unknown, HP Geetha,  as per  I know she  sang mostly for  Upendra Kumar , other  notable sons  was, Neena Bhagavantha  from Triveni,listed before,

15)Nammura  Santheli ,  Film Gaali Maathu  the  singers are  composer  Nagendra Himself  and   , Renuka ( not heard much) written by Chi Uday Shankar , and composed by  Rajan Nagendra, picturised on Kokila Mohan and Hema Chaudray. Point  to note  here, composer  Nagendra  sang one more song  with Director  Ravi ( KSL Swamy) , who himself  was a  Rare  singer , in film TONY , the song  was , Neeliya Bhaninda , Taareya Urindda Odutha Bandanu  Chandamama,
